We were honored to have wedding celebrant Father Patrick Joseph Martin with us and say a little prayer before the reception buffet dinner. He joined the bride's parents at their table and discussed about priesthood and marriage. Knowing that he has a busy schedule, being the rector of the Redemptorist Church in Cebu, we had little hope that Father Martin would come to the reception and it was a pleasant surprise for us to find him there.

The video of dining guests shown here is somewhat a prelude to the table hopping video which was performed afterwards. People are happier with a full stomach and table hopping was just at the right timing. At first, during the wedding programme planning, we wanted the table hopping before the meal when the tables are free of leftovers but realized later how restless guests would be if they were hungry. Luckily, the tables were cleaned up by the quick Chateau de Busay waiters by the time we were table hopping.

As a way of thanks, a voiceover of emcee Donald Sabandeja was overlayed during the video of the cake cutting ritual thanking Dr. Maria Janet Porcia and Mrs. Jojie Chong for providing the wedding cake. As was the color motiff, the three layered cake was coated with gold icing. Underneath was sweet mango-flavored chiffon. Sandwiched between the layers were real exotic flowers, with large orchids at the top. The cake was created by Chedz Bakeshop. With deep regrets, we forgot to instruct the waiters to serve it to the guests after dinner.
