- A very close family friend of Ivy's maternal grandparents and currently the Rector of the he C.Ss.R (Congregation Sanctissimi Redemptoris, Spanish for Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer), the family's personal dealings with Fr. Martin spans all the way back in the late 70's, when he once served as a parish priest at the San Isidro Labrador Parish Church in Talamban. Back then, Ivy's grandfather, Hermenegildo Vercide also served as a Lay Minister while her grandmother, Irenea Vercide was one of the church most active patrons. As a child, Ivy remembers Fr. Martin visiting the Vercide residence amd was always considered the honored guest in fiesta and birthday celebrations. Fr. Martin's favorite drink is a nice hot cup of Lipton Tea and with this, her grandmother would stack boxes of Lipton Tea in the cupboard. Long after Fr. Martin was transferred back to the Redemptorist Parish, and after the death of her grandparents, the family, through her Aunt Becky, still kept that same close ties with him. And to this day, he is still very much a part and will always be a part of every family celebration.

He once served in the US Navy but is now working as a technical support staff for a US based Japanese firm in Ohio. Nature and animal lover, James lives in a beautiful country home near the forest with his dog, Herman and his cat, Tip. In October of 2007, he came to the Philippines to personally meet Ivy's Aunt Sarah and the rest of the family. He immediately won the hearts and favor of the family. Wendell and Ivy had the privilege to be with James during their trip to Bohol. It was a short 2 day encounter but filled with fond memories.

- A very intelligent lady with a heart of gold, she is one of the best pediatricians of Cebu Doctor's Hospital. Ivy's second degree Aunt from the maternal side, she is considered as the "family's doctor." From minor ailments to major health issue, she was always there willing to help. She was one of the attending physician, when Ivy got sick of pneumonia a few years back. She is also an active parishioner of San Isudro Labrador Parish offering some of her precious time as one of the readers for Sunday masses.

- Ivy's second degree Uncle from the maternal side, he is the husband of Ivy's Aunt Jojie. Currently managing a family-owned business, he is seasoned engineer who knows exactly the craft of his trade earnning his successes from years of hard work and diligence.

- Currently residing in Vancouver Canada, she is Ivy's second degree aunt from the paternal side. She used to work as a Food and Diet Attendant for one of Vancouver's home for the aged. The Aunt that never forgets for despite between the miles she would always send her greeting cards on birthdays and christmases. She and her family had been the gracious host when Ivy and her mom first visited Vancouver, even taking a week-long leave from work just to spend time with them. One of Ivy's unforgetable moments with her is their wisit to the Buchart Garden and experienceing her first snow at Mount Seymour. during their visit in Canada.

- First degree cousin of Ivy's stepfather, he is a retired Captain in the U.S. Air Force and currently residing in Sacramento, California, USA but several times a year he would come to the Philippines to visit his family and relatives. One of Mr. Centenera's closest cousins, they would always find time to meet each other whether here in the Philippines or in the US.

- Wife of the late Consolacion Mayor, Maximo Malagar and first degree cousin of Ivy's stepfather. Mr Centernera remembers having a lot of fond memories with her in the old days back in Nage City where they both grew up and went in the same college in Ateneo together. She is currently living in Consalacion, Cebu but frequently travels from Cebu to Nage City to attend some of her businesses.

- Wendell's first degree cousin from the paternal side who works as one of the Naval Architect for Tsuneishi Heavy Industries, a Japanese company that builds ships in Balamban Cebu. Married, with three children, he also engaged into T-shirt printing and lettering as one of his sidelines.

- Wendell's first degree cousin and sister of Mr. Erlito Velasquez who currently serves as one of the Councilors for Barangay Pit-os. Maried and with two kids, she is also a small-scale businesswoman managing her own mini grocery store.

- Ivy's Aunt, the youngest of the Vercide sisters, she is considered as the family's official liaison officer, home manager, construction manager, treasurer and secretary rolled into one. This lady can almost do everything from building a house to arranging legal paperworks for her sisters now living abroad. To date, she is supervising the construction of a three-storey apartment for her sister in Vancouver and runs three other houses of her own for rent. On the lighter side, she is Ivy's shopping spree and beauty parlor buddy. Equally much of a chatterbox as Ivy, this two ladies can sit down and talk for long hours together.

- Wendell's classmate and close friend in UP Cebu Fine Arts Department, this guy has a very cool sense of humor, a contagious laugh and makes a good gay actor. Presently working in A5Tech as a computer graphic artist, this guy used to be known for his notorious outfits and gothic personality during his college days. He is also a tatto artist and a painter of surrreal concepts. Fondly called by Ivy as her favorite "Ate Darn" and also regarded as her "illegally adopted brother," they once worked together as a field interviewer for the Anomie Research Project funded by the University of Brisbane in Australia.

A man of few words, he is a music lover who enjoys playing the guitar and listening to different types of music from mystic New Age to soothing jazz, to noisy hard rock. An avid collector of DVD's and animie movies, he is also an internet savvy surfer who knows where to find the best downloads links on the web.
